Improving Workload in Schools

Hi colleagues,

Registration is now open for ASHA's first event in a series of conversations on supervision in communication sciences and disorders. Our live conversations kick off by addressing supervision of speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs) on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 7:30 to 8:30 ET

Subject matter experts with varied clinical backgrounds join us to answer your questions. Gain insights and strategies for successful SLPA supervisory experiences in different practice settings. Learn about ASHA's current information and resources available to support the SLP–SLPA supervisory relationship. This content is relevant to supervisors and supervisees.

We hope that you can attend this kickoff event for a conversation with the following panelists:

  • Marianne Gellert-Jones, MS, CCC-SLP, HMS School for Children With Cerebral Palsy

  • Phelan Kelly, C-SLPA, HMS School for Children With Cerebral Palsy

  • Danielle Lowe, MS, CCC-SLP, Mariposa Therapy Services

  • Vickie Jones, C-SLPA, Tucson Country Day School

  • Lisa Wolf, Associate Director, Assistants Certification Program, ASHA

  • Moderator, Adena Dacy, MS, CCC-SLP, Associate Director, Health Care Services in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA

ASHA membership is NOT required in order to join us.

Registrants will be able to submit questions at the time of registration and during the live event.

ASHA continuing education units (CEUs) and professional development hours (PDHs) are not being offered for this event.

If you are unable to join the event, you can access the recording and related resources later. And stay tuned for additional live conversations on supervision of audiology and speech-language pathology graduate students.
